This project was a part of improvement of traffic at Maktoum bridge and floating bridge.The key features of this project was widening of the existing bridges without disrupting the traffic at Rashid hospital R/A & Broad Cast R/A and the road to Jabel Ali and Deira.

 

The junction being a key location to cross from Deira to Bur Dubai & vice versa was a real challenge which StructCon took and executed within the time period to the client’s satisfaction.

 

The project involved demolition of existing bridge sides, drilling rebar, extension of bridge width,central barrier, all this with traffic passing over the bridge and underneath.Portal frame/falsework opening was designed to execute the work and allow free traffic flow.
