 AL MARJAN ISLAND CHANNEL CROSSING 2 - RAS AL KHAIMAHThis project was awarded to StructCon Constructions by PWSD / Govt. of Ras Al Khaimah.
The bridge is a part of a exclusive development in Al Marjan Island which is one of the most prestigious real estate project of Ras Al Khaimah. This project consists of 5 bridges with 4 spans each connecting the main land with an island where 5 star hotels, resorts, including residential and commercial spaces will be developed.
The bridge consists of bored piled foundations and precast post tensioned pile caps including precast post tensioned deck planks and subsequent insitu concreting for the deck slab.
The time limit for the project was only 6 months and consists of installation of precast elements over the channel waters.
