This project involved construction of Link Bridges in the existing Cinema Parking to the new Dubai Mall extension. across Za'abeel Road. The Bridges consist of structural steel/ slab/ beam, post tension girders.

 

StructCon was awarded the flat slab and post tension bridges. The project was a very prestigious project involving working along live traffic and providing full access to the prestigious Dubai Mall.

 

The main features of the bridges were that, the bridges was located on existing parking ramp which was strengthen to take the additional load. The bridge was from level no. 7 of the Cinema Parking.

 

One of the main features of the bridge is revision of Pin Joint below all the columns of the bridges to reduce the forces of the existing slab.
